9/30 Closet Cleaning

On monday, Gabby and I spent about an hour trying to figure out what to do with the storage closet in the studio. Although not much was accomplished, we did think of an idea to hang the most used wires on the inside of the door for easy access. Because we didn't know what most of the cables were used for, we weren't able to fully clean the closet. I plan on going back and figuring out how to clean out the closet, but I expect it will take more than an hour of my time.

Broadcast Reader for News Show

Last week during practicum I wrote a reader on the new iPhone and IOS 7 operating system. The reader was somewhat confusing to put together, but didn't take a long time because I was very familiar with the topic.

Women's bid day 9/28

I helped film Sorority bid day with Ryan, Rob, and Mason. We went over to Badcock gardens to begin filming, but the camera's picture wouldn't show up. We called Dr. Bradford and she showed us how to troubleshoot the camera issues. We then made our way to the Greek Quad to film each sorority welcoming their new members. In total I spent 3 hours on the event.

Sports Show 9/27

I Worked the Sports Show segment with Ryan Buckley and John. I helped set up the lighting and was there for the entirety of the shooting, serving as the teleprompter operator. We had to mess with the lights and improvise a lot in order to get the shots we wanted. It was also difficult running the teleprompter, because rather than them read a script, they read bullet points. I spent a total of 3 hours in the studio and had to call safety to come unlock the gates.
